from Mogadishu University (MU) Signed a Partnership Agreement with Tromso University

Two delegates from MU Dr. Abdurahman Moalim Abdullahi, the Chairman
of Board of Trustee and Dr. Abdullahi Farah Asseyr MD, Advisor of the President
& Head of Health Affairs at MU paid 10 days visit in Norway. During
their visit, MU delegates signed Academic Partnership Agreement with Tromso University,
Center for Peace Studies (CPS) and the Center for International Health (SIH).
Also the delegates had fruitful meeting with Somali students and community living
in Tromso city. The delegates also actively participated and did presentation
to 2nd Annual Somali Peace Conference "Good Governance & Rule of Law"
on 22 - 23 May 2006, which is organized by the Somali Peace Initiative Group in
Norway with the support of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (UD), the
Norwegian Directorate of Immigration (UDI), Norwegian Red Cross, Primary Medical
Care Center, Office of Diversity & Integration, City of Oslo and Health &
Welfare Agency. MU Delegates took official meeting with Dr.
Katrine Fangen & Other Members of Oslo University and Discussed the Future
Partnership Program between the two Universities. And also the delegates had opportunity
to met with the Somali Students in Oslo University - Norway Kindly
