A Week for "Freedom of Speech" take-off at MU

Faculty of Political Science and Journalism of MU has lunched in collaboration with the preparatory committee a week for the "Freedom of Speech". The first day has focused on the conceptual explanation and legal frameworks of the freedom of speech. Dr. Ali Sheikh, president of MU opened the symposium and then Dr. Ali Abdurahman presented historical and legal aspects of the freedom of speech. Participants included Dr. Abdulaziz H. Gacal, chairman of the Medical Association, Dr. Mohamed Hussein Isse, dean of the Shari'a and law of MU, Mr. Gacal, director of continuous education and community service of MU, students, alumni of MU and dignitaries from civil society organizations.
