MU Joins the SACB Educational Sector

Mogadishu University was invited to joint the Somali Aid Coordination Body (SACB) Educational Sector Committee. On the 21st September 2004, the MU representatives in Nairobi: Mr. Fathudin Mohamed and Westley Bii and Hussein M. Iman (MU Program Director) attended the SACB Educational Sector Committee meeting in Nairobi Kenya.

During that sectoral meeting, the MU team presented the MU strategic plan for the period 2003 - 2007. The meeting participants from different international NGOs and UN Agencies placed many questions and discussed the MU plans. The participants also gave their constructive suggestions for improving the MU plans and warmly welcomed Mogadishu University to regularly attend the SACB Educational sector meetings usually held in Nairobi.

This SACB Educational sector is a forum for the SACB members where all those NGOs, UN Agencies and other international and local Somali institutions working in the education sector regularly meet, discuss and address the issues on the Somali Education Sector.
