A Day of Festivity for MU Students

On the occasion of Eid al-Udha and the end of the first semester for the academic year 2004-2005, student affairs had organized one day of festivity and for MU students. This program was held in then new campus of Mogadishu University. Students had participated in the ongoing construction and then festivity had begun with artistic shows, songs, poems and cultural projections.

On this occasion, president of MU Dr. Ali Sheikh congratulates students on the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Udha and encouraged students to take their studies seriously emphasised that only educated human resources equipped with upright moral values can recover Somalia.

New MU campus under construction is located 3km outside of the city and expected that MU will move there at the beginning of the academic year 2005-2006.
