Academic Year of Post Graduate Program Starts

The academic year the post graduate program in education & Sharia and Law has begun. The program started in 2004 as partnership program between Mogadishu University & Umdurman Islamic University in Sudan.

An opening ceremony was held at the campus of the university for welcoming professors from Umdurman University as well as distributing diploma certificates for the students completed high diploma in education.

At the beginning of the ceremony, the coordinator of the program welcomed Dr. Tijani, head of the Umdurman academy delegation. Dr. Tijani expressed his joy and happiness at Mogadishu University and thanked MU administration for their warm welcome. He also congratulated for the students wishing them more success, prosperity and progress.

In the conclusion of the ceremony, Dr. Ali, the president of MU gave speech in which he highlighted the achievements of MU and how it was established in a devastated country, stating that MU's main objective was to restore hope for Somali people by spreading education throughout the country.

He also emphasized the need for expansion programs of post graduate studies to cop with the increasing demand in the country.

Finally the president expressed his gratitude to both people and government of Sudan for their great and brotherly efforts doing for Somali people.
