An agreement is made on March 7 th , 2008 in the matters of implementation of the Information and Communication Technologies and Teacher Education Project between UNESCO PEER and Mogadishu University .

The two parties agreed developing the teacher education sub-sector in Somalia through innovative use of ICT-TE .

The accord aims at to train in-service primary school teachers in Somalia through a school-based and ICT supported teacher training with mentoring support approach, to diploma level.
