Interview with Dr. Mohammad H. Isse,
Dean of the Faculty of Shari'a &Law

In an effort to provide updated information to our readers, MU website had visited faculty of Law and Shari'a and interviewed Dr. Mohamed Hussein Isse, Dean of the faculty. He told that "the faculty is one of the first faculties of MU and it consists of two specializations, the law and shari'a. It offers four years BA degree and will be graduating its 5th patch this year inshaa Allah.

Some of the graduates of the faculty are perusing MA and PhD programs in many universities abroad while others are working in different fields in Somalia". He added more that" The faculty is planning to expand its programs and open graduate program by this year".

"This faculty has the strength of its rich library and availability of resource materials and very soon at
the beginning of the next academic years expects to move to its new three store building" emphasized Dr. Mohammad mentining the new campus of MU under construction. "Students of the faculty are engaged in social service programs and are very active in the practical work within the community" he concluded.

Dr. Mohammad took his PhD in law and Shri'a from Mohammad V University in Morocco and was appointed to position of the dean of the faculty in the year 2004.
