MU Faculty of Nursing Receives Donation From Harstad Nursing College in Norway

Harstad Nursing College of the Norwegian government had donated money to the Faculty of Nursing of Mogadishu University. The donated money was purchased the essential medical equipments and teaching aids for Nursing Demonstration Room (NDR) of Mogadishu University (MU).

These essential medical equipments were included the binocular microscopes, blood pleasure measurements apparatus (BP), weight scales and trolleys, which is important for the skills and performances of the nursing students.

On behalf of Harstad Nursing College, Dr. Abdullahi Farah Asseyr, MD Consultant Pediatrician of Arafat Hospital in Mogadishu, senior tutor and one of the founders of the nursing college handed over the above mentioned medical equipments to the dean of the faculty of nursing. The director of information & public relations of Mogadishu University and senior tutors of nursing staff as well as the students of the faculty of nursing (MU) attended in this ceremony.
