Demonstration of Local Nutritional
Foods

Students of faculty of nursing have prepared their annual
demonstration of local foods (nutrition).
They prepared different food items according to their nutritive
values, such as proteins, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins and
minerals.
The aims of the demonstration are to apply theoretical aspects
of food preparation and to show & motivate the community
to understand and use the local available foods.
In addition to that, these foods are cheap and contain all
the body requirements interms of growth, repair and maintenance.
