Graduation Ceremony of the First Batch of CISCO Networking Academy in Somalia 12 July 2007

Mogadishu University joined Cisco Networking Academy (NetAcad) as partner and local academy for CISCO in August 2006.

In a well-organized ceremony, Mogadishu University had celebrated today the graduation of its 1 st batch of 29 students graduated from the CISCO IT essentials course.

This event is a historical on its own and also a victory for Somali people, in particular IT education in Somalia .

President of MU had expressed his pleasure to participate in this graduation ceremony and forwarded his warmest congratulations to the students. He also expressed the importance of this program in the development of IT sector in Somalia , which is in severe need for professionals.

The ceremony was participated by MU administration, students, and guests from telecommunication and IT industry in Mogadishu.
