Mogadishu University (MU) had participated the 9th Somali Studies Conference, which held in Aalborg University, Denmark in between 03-05 September 2004

The participants from MU presented different scientific and social issue papers in the conference, and their contribution was highly appreciated by the audiences.

The delegates from Mogadishu University were:

• Mr. Abdirahman Moalim Abdullahi
• Mr. Mohamed Shariff Osman
• Dr. Abdullahi Farah Asseyr

The evaluation committee and all the participants of the conference had given a remarkable consideration for local initiative development of MU activities in Somalia.

Dr. Abdullahi Farah Asseyr, one of the delegates from Mogadishu University who participated the 9th Somali Studies Conference in Aalborg University, Denmark had done different presentations to the Somali Intellectual Associations based in Switzerland, Geneva on 14-15 September 2004. The main presented issue was related to the local development in Somalia, particularly in Mogadishu.

After presentation, discussion and watching real images of videotape, all the participants were greatly achieved the local development done by the Civil Society Organizations in Mogadishu.
